The PTI’s work is primarily concentrated on issues pertaining to traffic monitoring and accident recording technologies, police weapons and protective equipment as well as police-relevant vehicle technology including particularly protected vehicles and the field of safety technology. The PTI is responsible for the production and continuation of technical guidelines.
