Police Historic Collection

The police historic collection is affiliated with the library. It includes an exhibition focussing on '100 years of police education work'. In this context, police training and further training in Germany are being highlighted, the period stretching from the era of monarchy until the end of 20th century. Along with the educational analysis, the political and social circumstances of police education are under review. Furthermore, the collection includes more than 12 000 publications covering the subsequent areas: police law, crime, criminology, organisational development and history of the German police.
