Training for senior officers of Federal State and Länder
The calendar of courses of the German Police University is presented in an annual programme. It includes about 50 courses, 10 of which are planned internationally or with international participation. This means that these are multilingual courses with simultaneous translation.
Frame concept
Advanced training is the systematically networked continuation of the initial training. It is determined in a frame concept, which – taking into account current developments - is continued and implemented in detail according to demands, and is orientated towards the same educational, methodical and didactical principles that apply for the Polizei-Führungsakademie. The normally interdisciplinary alignment of the training courses on the one hand aims at supporting, accompanying and promoting police-internal restructuring processes and on the other hand at strengthening the integrative position of police services within society. In addition to professional training the personal, social and methodical competence of the participants is to be increased and strengthened.
