Mitteleuropäische Polizeiakademie
The Middle European Police Academy (MEPA)
is an educational institution funded by the member states, which elaborates and carries out training courses for senior police officers from the operative field of organized crime combat.
Members of the MEPA are:
Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, Czechia and Hungary.
Its main goals besides the professional training are to reduce communication and comprehension problems and prejudices, to impart social, economical and political background knowledge, to establish, enhance and maintain personal contacts for the building of confidence.
