The Middle European Police Academy (MEPA)
MEPA is an educational institution funded by the member states, which elaborates and carries out further training courses for senior police officers from the operational field of countering organised crime.
Members of the MEPA are:
Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, Slovakia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic and Hungary.
Besides delivering professional training courses, the main goals of MEPA are to reduce communication and comprehension challenges, to transfer social, economic and political background know-how, to establish, enhance and maintain personal contacts for the building of confidence.
